A World Athletics Continental Challenge meeting and part of the Swedish Folksam Grand Prix series.

Men: 100m, 1 mile, 110 m hurdles, 400 m hurdles, Triple jump, *Discus

Women: 100m, 2000m, 400m, 100mh, Long jump, *Discus

*Men and women discus will be staged as a “mixed” competition with 6 women and 4 men.

Prize Money

The total prize money for the main meeting events is according to the rules of a WACT Challenge meeting. The prize money structure is: first place EUR 500; second place EUR 250; third place EUR 100

The tax rate in Sweden is 15% which will be deducted on all prize money and promotional fees.

National Programme

National events/ Pre-meeting 16.30-17.45, post-meeting 20.00-21.00

Men: 800m, 2000 m steeple chase, javelin

Women: 1500m, 2000 m steeple chase, javelin

Entries

Entries to National events, please use the online registration link ”Anmälan” in the menue on our webpage and last registration date is August 11, Entry fee is SEK 150/event. In events with pacers an additional fee of SEK 100 will be included. 

Landvetter International Airport

Borås is located 40 kilometers from the international airport Landvetter. Travels to/from the airport to Borås can be done either with the bus company Vy Bus4You or Flixbus.

For invited  and confirmed athletes in the main international events travel contribution must be agreed with the athlete liaison at the time of confirmation of participation and at the reimbursement must be backed up with receipts, booking confirmations or other travel documents.

The same applies for travel contributions for coaches / ARs with at least 4 invited and confirmed athletes in the main international events IF agreed beforehand with the athlete liaison.

Accommodation

Full board accommodation 2 days at the official hotel, Scandic Plaza Hotel, for invited and confirmed athletes in the main international events and confirmed coaches/ARs (which has been agreed with the athlete liaison beforehand).
